Kick-off Dinner at Thai Consul General Jukr Boon-long’s Residence

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 5, 2009.  On behalf of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, the 4th Annual Asian Friendship Golf Tournament will be hosted by the Thai Chamber of Commerce of Southern California on April 22, 2009, at the Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms in the City of Industry.  Our objective is to promote better relationships among Asian American Chambers in Southern California. We hope that this annual friendship golf tournament will create networking opportunities and continue to be a tradition for our Asian-Pacific American community.

The first Asian Friendship Golf Tournament was hosted by the Korean American Chamber of Commerce.  The 2nd Annual Golf Tournament was hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Southern California and the 3rd by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles.  This will be the Thai Chamber’s first time hosting the Asian Friendship Golf Tournament.  The Thai community is proud to be a part of this great event.  The Thai Tourism of Thailand has prepared gift bags and giveaways for all participants.    

Furthermore, the Honorable Jukr Boon-long, Consul General of Thailand would like to extend his appreciation and support to all members of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce by hosting the kick-off dinner at his residence.  The dinner will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00P.M. The members of consular corps in Los Angeles, including the Consuls General of the People’s Republic of China, the Philippines, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysian, Pakistan, Singapore and Bangladesh have been invited to the event. Attendees also include the Presidents and/or representatives of each member of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce.  

On April 22, 2009, Wednesday, the Tournament starts at 1:00 PM shot-gun, although registration will begin at 11:00 A.M. The format of the Tournament will be a 4-man Team Scramble with handicap. Green fee and dinner per participant is $150.  Dinner ticket is $60 per person. Space is limited.
